Five Dollar Fridays: Sky Mall Kitties

Pal Jon Schwarz over at A Tiny Revolution (not “A Trini Revolution,” the Orwell-influenced Trini Lopez fan site) has come up with a wonderful idea that uses the internet to support artists, writers and other ~~people without jobs~~ underpaid-but-essential members of society. It’s called “Five Dollar Fridays,” and it works like this: every Friday, Jon will select something he’s found online for free that he thinks is really great, and PayPal the person/people who created it $5. People following Jon on Twitter, or on affiliated websites (like ATR or this one) will also be alerted to this week’s pick. Jon talks about it here.
