A new documentary called “Sizing Up Sperm” uses real people to represent 250 million sperm on their treacherous, exhausting trip from the testicle to the egg. Along the way, they encounter antibodies (hey! I thought you loved me!), walls that drip acid, and the knowledge that the so-called winner faces a life of doing taxes. The whole thing makes contraception seem like pure sadism. Where’s PETA when you need them? Anyway, the show premieres March 21, 2010; here are a few pics to (ahem) get you excited.

This may look like it's set in British Columbia, but it's actually the backseat of a Dodge Stratus.
In the States, “Sizing Up Sperm” is being shown on Nat Geo—you know, the channel that runs all the disaster/Biblical prophecy/obesity programs. But this one actually may make it onto the TiVo.
